Imagine a president named Warren G. Harding! He was the 29th president of the United States, which means he was the 29th person to hold that super important job.
He was born a long, long time ago, in 1865, and lived in Ohio for most of his life. He was like a friendly neighbor who became president! People really liked him when he was president, but later on, some not-so-great things came out that made people rethink things.
From Newspaper Boy to President's House!
Before becoming president, Warren Harding did many cool things. He even owned a newspaper called The Marion Star! He worked hard to make it a great newspaper.
Then, he became a senator, which is like a super important person who helps make rules for the whole country. He ran for president and won! He promised everyone a 'return to normalcy,' which meant he wanted things to feel safe and calm, like before a big world event happened.
