Trident

Imagine a super-cool spear with not one, not two, but THREE pointy tips! That's a trident! It's like a super-fork for catching fish or a special weapon for powerful characters. Think of it as a fancy spear that's extra good at its job. It's not just for playing pretend; people have used tridents for a very, very long time.

In old stories, the king of the ocean, Poseidon (or Neptune in Roman stories), used a trident to control the waves and protect his underwater kingdom. Even his friends, like Triton, sometimes carried one! In other stories, a strong god named Shiva in India uses a trident called a trishula. And guess what? Aquaman, the superhero who talks to fish, also has a trident!

The three points on a trident are super clever. If you're trying to catch a slippery fish, having three tips means you're more likely to hit it. Plus, if the fish wiggles, it's harder for it to get away from all three points. But it's not so many points that it can't still poke through things really well. It’s the perfect balance!
