Meet the Toy Kingdom!

Toys "R" Us was a super big store that sold tons and tons of toys! It was like a magical kingdom just for playthings. You could find dolls, race cars, building blocks, and so much more. It was a place where kids could get excited about all the fun things they could play with.

How the Toy Land Grew!

A man named Charles Lazarus started Toys "R" Us a long, long time ago, in 1948. First, it was a store that sold baby furniture, but then it changed to become all about toys! It grew so big that it had stores all over the United States and even in other countries. It was like a giant toy adventure spreading everywhere!

Why We Loved the Toy Store!

Toys "R" Us was special because it had more toys than almost anywhere else. It was a place where families could go to find birthday presents or just a fun treat. Seeing all the toys lined up was like looking at a rainbow of fun! It made getting new toys feel like a really big deal.

The Toy Store's New Adventures!

Even though the big Toys "R" Us stores closed for a little while, the fun isn't over! Now, you can find Toys "R" Us inside other big stores called Macy's. There are also some brand new, special stores opening up, like a giant one in a place called American Dream. The toy adventure continues!
