Social Democratic Party of Germany

It was made by joining together smaller groups who all wanted to help workers. For a long time, they were the biggest group like them in Europe. They even helped start a new kind of government in Germany called the Weimar Republic after a big war.

The SPD is all about teamwork and making sure everyone gets a fair chance. They believe in helping people who work hard, like people who build things or teach kids. They've been in charge of Germany a few times, helping to make important decisions.
