What Was This Giant Fight?

The Segunda Guerra Mundial, or World War II, was a super big fight that happened all over the world from 1939 to 1945. It was like a giant playground argument that got way out of hand! Many countries were involved, with two big teams: the Allies and the Axis.

It was the biggest war in history, with more than 30 countries sending their soldiers to fight. Millions and millions of people were involved in this massive global conflict.

Where Did the Fight Start?

This huge fight began in Europe when Germany, led by a man named Adolf Hitler, invaded Poland. Germany wanted to take over other countries. This made other countries like Britain and France very angry, and they declared war on Germany.

Soon, more countries joined in, and the fight spread like wildfire across Europe, Asia, Africa, and even the oceans. It was a truly global event, affecting people everywhere.

Why Did It Matter So Much?

This war changed the world forever! It led to the deaths of millions of people, more than any other war before. After the fighting stopped, new rules were made to try and stop wars from happening again.

Countries learned that working together was better than fighting. It also led to amazing new inventions and a lot of changes in how countries got along with each other. The world map looked very different after the war ended.

What Happened After the Big Fight?

When the war finally ended in 1945, the world was a very different place. The countries that won, called the Allies, helped rebuild the places that were damaged. They also created a new group called the United Nations, which is like a club for countries to talk and solve problems peacefully.

This war showed everyone how important it is to be kind and to try and understand each other, instead of fighting.
