Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance

The Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance, or BSW for short, is a new political team in Germany that started in 2024. Think of them like a new club at school that has its own special rules and ideas. They have leaders named Sahra Wagenknecht and Amira Mohamed Ali. This team is trying to make Germany a better place by sharing their thoughts on how things should work.

This new team didn't just pop up! It grew out of another team called 'The Left'. Some people on 'The Left' team decided they wanted to try a different way of doing things. So, they decided to start their own team, the BSW! It's like when you and your friends decide to start a new game with new rules because you have different ideas about how to play.

The BSW team has some really interesting ideas. They think about helping people who don't have a lot of money, but they also have some ideas that are a bit more like what older people might think. They are also careful about how much they spend and they like to be independent. It's like having a friend who loves playing video games but also enjoys reading old books!

Even though the BSW is a new team, they've already done some cool things! They recently had a big vote called the European Parliament elections, and lots of people voted for them. They also did really well in some parts of Germany, like getting more than 10 out of every 100 votes! This shows that many people are listening to their ideas.
