Where is Belgium?

Belgium is a country in Europe, like a small, cozy house in a big neighborhood. It's not super big, about the size of a large playground! It has a flat, green land perfect for growing yummy things. The weather is usually mild, not too hot and not too cold, with rain to help the plants grow. It's a place with pretty rivers and some nice beaches by the sea.

Who's the Big Boss?

The Prime Minister is like the captain of a ship, steering the country. They are the most important person in charge of the government. They make big decisions for everyone. The first person to be a leader of Belgium a long, long time ago was Henri van der Noot. But the job we know today, the Prime Minister, became really important after a big war called World War I.

Super Important Job!

The Prime Minister leads the team that runs Belgium. They are the head of the federal government. This means they help make sure everything works smoothly, like making sure schools are open and roads are fixed. They are the most powerful person in politics in Belgium. It's a very busy job, making sure the country is happy and safe for all its people.

A New Leader!

Recently, a new Prime Minister named Bart De Wever started his job. He is the very first leader from a group called Flemish Nationalists to be in charge! He took over from the previous Prime Minister, Alexander De Croo. This is a big change and shows how leaders can change over time, just like how you grow bigger each year!
