Luxembourg

Luxembourg is a small country tucked away in Europe, like a little jewel. It doesn't have any oceans touching it, which means it's landlocked! To its west and north is Belgium, to the east is Germany, and to the south is France. Its capital city, also called Luxembourg City, is super important because it's where some big decisions for all of Europe are made!

Once upon a time, Luxembourg was a county with powerful counts. Now, it's a Grand Duchy, which is like a kingdom but ruled by a Grand Duke! The current ruler is Grand Duke Guillaume. It's the only country left in the world that's a sovereign grand duchy. Imagine living in a place that still has a real-life duke!

People in Luxembourg are amazing at languages! They speak Luxembourgish, which is their own special language. But they also use French for laws and German for lots of other things.
