Philip I of Castile

Imagine a prince named Philip who was born a long, long time ago in a place called Flanders. He was a prince, which means he was part of a royal family. His dad was an emperor, like a super-king of a big empire! Philip was known for being handsome and strong. He loved to play and learn, just like you do at school. He would grow up to have a very important job in a faraway land called Castile.

When Philip grew up, he got married to a princess named Joanna. This wasn't just any wedding; it was a super important one! Joanna was the princess of Castile, a big and powerful kingdom. By marrying her, Philip became the king of Castile! It was like a fairy tale, but it was real life. He traveled all the way from his home to rule this new kingdom with his wife.
