His acting debut in 'Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi' in 1996 was merely the prelude to a meteoric rise. He achieved an unprecedented streak of six consecutive blockbusters, including seminal films like 'Tholi Prema' (1998), 'Thammudu' (1999), 'Badri' (2000), and 'Kushi' (2001).

In the 2019 elections, the JSP made its electoral debut, securing one MLA seat and garnering approximately 6% of the vote. Following this, Kalyan and the JSP intensified their focus on critical areas such as farmer welfare, combating illegal sand mining, enhancing women's safety, and preventing land encroachment. In the 2024 elections, Kalyan played a crucial role in forging an alliance between the JSP, TDP, and BJP, which resulted in a landslide victory. The Janasena Party achieved remarkable success, winning all 21 MLA seats and 2 MP seats it contested. Pawan Kalyan himself was elected from the Pithapuram constituency by a significant margin of over 70,000 votes, subsequently assuming the role of the 11th Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, a position that underscores his significant political influence and mandate.
