What's All Around Us?

Everything you see, touch, and feel outside is part of the environment! It’s like a giant playground made of nature. This includes all the living things, like fuzzy squirrels and tall trees, and non-living things, like rocks, water, and the air.

They all work together in amazing ways, like a big team helping each other out. The environment is where all living things live and grow, from the smallest ant to the biggest whale!

Nature's Big Family Tree

Think of the environment as a giant family tree. It’s been around for a super, super long time, even before dinosaurs! Over millions of years, it has changed and grown. The air, the water, the land, and all the plants and animals have been here, interacting and shaping each other. It’s like a never-ending story of how everything in nature connects and depends on each other to survive and thrive.

Why We Need Our Environment!

Our environment is super important because it gives us everything we need to live! It gives us fresh air to breathe, clean water to drink, and yummy food to eat from plants and animals. It’s also where we play and explore! When the environment is healthy, we are healthy too. It’s like a cozy home for all living things, and we need to take good care of it so it can take care of us.

How Nature's Team Works

The environment is like a big puzzle where all the pieces fit together. Living things, like plants, need sunlight and water to grow. Animals eat plants or other animals.

When plants and animals die, they help make the soil rich for new plants to grow. The air and water move around, helping everything stay alive. It’s a constant cycle of giving and taking, keeping everything balanced and working smoothly.
