Olmec colossal heads

Imagine huge stone heads, bigger than a school bus, staring at you! These are the Olmec colossal heads. They were made by a super old civilization called the Olmecs, who lived in Mexico thousands of years ago. Each head is carved from a giant rock, and they all look a bit different, like portraits of important people. They are so big and heavy, it's amazing how the Olmecs moved them!

The Olmecs lived in a place called Mesoamerica, which is now part of Mexico. They were one of the first big groups of people to live there, long before the Aztecs or Maya.
