Memphis Pyramid

Right by a super wide river called the Mississippi, there's a building shaped like a giant triangle, just like the ancient pyramids in Egypt! It's called the Memphis Pyramid. It's so tall, it's like stacking 32 school buses on top of each other. It was built a long, long time ago, in 1991, and it's a super cool place to see.

For a long time, this pyramid was a place for exciting sports games and concerts, with seats for over 20,000 people! That's more people than can fit in most big stadiums. Now, it's a giant store called Bass Pro Shops. You can buy all sorts of outdoor gear, eat yummy food, and even go bowling inside!

Did you know this pyramid is so big that it's one of the tenth-tallest pyramids in the whole world? It's a super special building that reminds us of the ancient pyramids far away in Egypt. It's a place where old history meets new fun, right in the middle of a big American city.

Even though it's a store now, you can still have adventures! There's a special place at the very top where you can look out over the city and the river. It's like being on top of the world! There's also a museum inside about ducks and saving nature, which is pretty neat.
