Lahore Resolution

The Lahore Resolution was like a super important plan made a long, long time ago. It was decided on March 23, 1940, in a city called Lahore. Think of it as a special promise made by a group called the All-India Muslim League.

This promise was the first big step towards creating a new country called Pakistan. It was all about Muslims living in certain parts of India wanting their own place to be in charge of their own lives.

This big idea came from a meeting in Lahore, which is like a bustling city with lots of people. For three whole days, important leaders talked and thought about how Muslims could have their own independent areas. They wanted these areas to be like separate homes where Muslims could make their own rules. It was a way to say, 'We want our own space to be ourselves!'
