Meet the Labour Team!

The Labour Party is like a big club in the United Kingdom. It's one of the two most important clubs, like the two biggest teams in a playground. This team is made up of people who want to help others, like friends who share their toys.

They believe in fairness and making sure everyone has a chance to do well. The leader of the team is called Keir Starmer, and he became the boss of the whole country in 2024!

How Did the Team Start?

A long, long time ago, in 1900, some clever people started this team. They came from groups of workers called trade unions. At first, not many people voted for them. But after a big war called World War I, more and more people liked their ideas. They became a really important team, even bigger than another team called the Liberal Party. They even got to be in charge for a little bit in 1924!

What Makes Labour Special?

Labour has some really cool ideas! They believe everyone should have good healthcare, like visiting the doctor when you're sick, and that's why they helped start the National Health Service. They also think schools should be good for everyone.

They've been in charge of the country many times, helping to build things that make life better for families. They are always trying to find new ways to help people.

Why We Remember Labour

The Labour Party has helped make the UK a fairer place. They helped create the National Health Service, which is like a giant hospital for everyone, no matter how much money they have. They've also helped make sure people have safe homes and good jobs. When Labour is in charge, they try to make sure everyone is looked after, like a big family looking after each other.
