Joshua: The Brave Leader

Imagine a super-spy who was also a great leader! That was Joshua. His real name was Hoshea, which means 'Save'. But Moses, a very important leader, changed his name to Yehoshua, which means 'Yahweh is salvation'. It's like getting a cool nickname! Joshua was born a long, long time ago, even before his people left Egypt. He was Moses' helper and learned a lot from him.

Before Joshua became a leader, he was part of a super-secret mission! Moses sent twelve spies, and Joshua was one of them. Their job was to explore a new land called Canaan.
