Jordan Romero

Jordan Romero is a super cool kid who became famous for climbing mountains. When he was only 13 years old, he climbed Mount Everest, the tallest mountain on Earth! That's like climbing a mountain taller than 200 giraffes stacked on top of each other! He wasn't alone; his dad, step-mom, and some guides called Sherpas helped him reach the top.

Jordan got his big idea to climb mountains from a painting he saw at school. It showed the highest mountains on all seven continents. He decided he wanted to climb them all! It's like wanting to visit every single playground in your town. He wanted to be the youngest person ever to do it, and he succeeded!

Before Jordan, the youngest person to climb Mount Everest was 15 years old. But Jordan did it when he was just 13! That's younger than most kids are when they start middle school. He also climbed the highest mountains on all seven continents, which is called the 'Seven Summits.' He was the youngest person to ever do that too!

After his amazing climbing adventures, Jordan even wrote a book for kids! It's called 'No Summit Out of Sight.' It tells stories about his journeys and inspires other kids to dream big. Jordan shows us that even when you're young, you can do incredible things if you set your mind to it.
