She was born a long, long time ago, on June 3, 1951. She grew up in a town called Willow Grove in Pennsylvania. She's a very special person because she became the First Lady of the United States.

That means she lived in the White House with her husband, Joe Biden, who was the President! She's also a professor, which is like a super-teacher at a college.

Dr. Biden didn't just become a First Lady overnight! She worked hard to become a teacher.

She taught reading and English to kids in high school for thirteen years. That's longer than you've been in school! She also helped teenagers who were having a tough time.

Then, she became a teacher at a college called Delaware Technical & Community College for fifteen years. She even went back to school herself to get a special doctor's degree in education!

Here's a WOW fact: Dr. Biden is the first First Lady who kept her teaching job while her husband was President! She taught English at a college called Northern Virginia Community College.

She believes learning is super important for everyone. She also started a program to help people learn about breast health and another one called Book Buddies to give books to kids. She's like a superhero for education and helping others!

Dr. Biden is also a loving mom and stepmom. She married Joe Biden, and they have a daughter named Ashley. She was also a stepmom to Joe's sons, Beau and Hunter. She loves her family very much. She also worked with Michelle Obama to start a program called Joining Forces, which helps military families. She's always finding ways to make things better for people.
