Hawker Hunter: The Speedy Jet Plane!

The Hawker Hunter was a super cool British jet airplane built a long, long time ago, back when your grandparents might have been kids! It was so fast, one of them even broke the world speed record for planes!

This jet was built to be a 'day interceptor,' which means it was really good at flying up high to catch other planes during the day. It was much faster than the older jet planes that came before it.
