Franz Marc: The Animal Painter Who Loved Blue!

Imagine a world bursting with color! That's what Franz Marc loved to paint. He was born a long, long time ago in Germany, way back in 1880.

Franz was an artist who really, really loved animals. He didn't just paint them like they looked; he painted them with feelings and bright, bold colors. He thought animals were special and wanted everyone to see how wonderful they were.

He even started a special art group with his friends called 'The Blue Rider'!

Franz's favorite subjects were animals. He painted horses, foxes, cows, and even deer! But he didn't use boring brown or grey.

He used bright blues, sunny yellows, and fiery reds to show how he felt about them. He believed animals had a special connection to nature and a pure spirit. His paintings are like a happy dream filled with colorful creatures.

Sadly, when Franz grew up, there was a big war called World War I. He had to go and be a soldier. It was a very sad time, and he died when he was only 36 years old.

But even though he's not here anymore, his amazing paintings are! People all over the world still love his colorful animals. His art is so special that one of his paintings of foxes sold for a LOT of money, more than 42 million pounds!
