Federalist Party

The Federalists loved having a national bank, which is like a big piggy bank for the whole country. They also wanted to trade with Great Britain, which was a powerful country back then. They thought America should be modern and have factories. They were really good at winning arguments in the government, especially in places like New England.

The Federalist team was strong for a while, controlling the government until 1801. But another team, the Democratic-Republicans, became more popular. The Federalists tried to make a comeback by being against a big war called the War of 1812, but eventually, their team faded away. Still, they left behind the idea of a strong government that helps everyone.
