The Mighty Durrani Empire!

Long, long ago, in a land called Afghanistan, a super strong leader named Ahmad Shah Durrani decided to build a giant kingdom. He was part of the Durrani tribe, and he was so good at leading that he brought many lands together. His empire was so big it covered places that are now Afghanistan, Pakistan, and even parts of India and Iran!

It was like building the biggest LEGO castle ever, but with real land and people!

Ahmad Shah Durrani was like the superhero of his time! He was a great commander and after a big leader named Nader Shah died, Ahmad took charge. He was so powerful that he became the king and changed his tribe's name to Durrani, meaning 'pearls'. He was very brave and led his armies many times into India, making sure everyone knew who was in charge. He even visited Delhi, a very famous city!

After Ahmad Shah, his son Timur Shah took over. He decided that the city of Kabul would be the main home of the empire, like the principal's office at school. Peshawar was like the playground, used when it was cold. But ruling such a big place is tricky! Over time, some parts of the empire, like Peshawar and Kashmir, became separate, like when a friend moves away.

Even though the Durrani Empire isn't around anymore, it's super important because it helped create the country of Afghanistan we know today. Ahmad Shah Durrani is called the 'Father of the Nation' because he was the first big leader to unite so many Afghan people. They were one of the most important empires in the world back then, like being the most popular kid on the playground!
