Bilal ibn Rabah

Imagine a man named Bilal who lived a very long time ago. He was born in a place called Mecca, which is in a country that is now called Eritrea. Bilal was known for his super loud and beautiful voice! He was also one of the very first people to believe in a new religion called Islam. He became a very special friend to the Prophet Muhammad, who was the leader of this new religion.

Bilal had a very important job. He was chosen to be the first person to call everyone to prayer. This call is called the 'adhan'.
