Aristotle Onassis

Aristotle Onassis was a super-duper rich businessman from Greece. He was so good at making money that he ended up owning the biggest collection of ships in the whole world! Think of it like owning more toy boats than anyone else, but these were giant ships that carried important things across the ocean. He was one of the most famous and wealthiest people alive back then.

Aristotle was born in a city called Smyrna, but sadly, it caught fire when he was just a kid. He and his family had to escape and move to Greece. Later, he went all the way to Argentina, which is like going across the world! There, he started a business selling tobacco, which is like fancy leaves people used to smoke. Then, he got into the shipping business, which made him incredibly rich.

Being so rich and famous meant Aristotle met and knew lots of important people. He was married to a lady named Athina Livanos. He also had a famous love story with a singer named Maria Callas. And guess what? In the last few years of his life, he married Jacqueline Kennedy, who used to be the First Lady of the United States! That's like marrying someone super famous from TV!

Aristotle Onassis was always making big plans. He tried to make deals for oil ships and even went on special trips to hunt whales! He also started his own airline called Olympic Airways, which was like his own special way for people to fly. Even though he was super successful, he was very sad when his son, Alexander, passed away. Aristotle died a couple of years after that.
