Adventures in Alberta!

Alberta is famous for its incredible nature! Think of the Rocky Mountains, which are like the biggest, rockiest playground ever, with peaks that touch the sky. There are also wide-open prairies, like giant green carpets stretching as far as you can see.

Alberta is also a treasure chest for dinosaur bones! Scientists have found so many fossils here, it's like a prehistoric party. There are special parks where you can see where dinosaurs once roamed and even where ancient hunters used to gather buffalo.

Who Lives in Alberta?

Lots of people call Alberta home! The biggest cities are Calgary and Edmonton, where most people live. These cities are like busy hubs with lots of fun things to do.

People in Alberta speak mostly English. Long ago, First Nations people lived here, and later, explorers and traders arrived. Many people came from other countries to build new lives, especially to farm the land and raise animals.

It's a place where different cultures have come together to create a unique community.

What Do Albertans Do?

Alberta is known for its strong economy, which means people have jobs and businesses. A big part of what makes Alberta special is its natural resources, like oil and gas. These are like hidden treasures underground that help power homes and cars.

Many people also work in jobs that help others, like doctors and teachers, or in shops and restaurants. Farming is also important, with lots of cattle and crops grown here. Alberta's economy is like a well-oiled machine, helping the whole country!
