Abd al-Rahman I

Abd al-Rahman had to be very sneaky to escape his enemies. He traveled for a long time, crossing deserts and rivers. Finally, he arrived in a beautiful place called Al-Andalus, which is now Spain.

The people there were looking for a leader, and Abd al-Rahman was perfect! He became their ruler and started building a new kingdom, making it strong and beautiful. He was like a builder of a brand-new playground!

Abd al-Rahman was important because he created a new country where different people could live together. He was a great leader who helped build cities and made sure people were safe. He also loved art and science, so he encouraged people to learn and create beautiful things. He was like the principal of a school who made sure everyone learned and was happy!
