2022 United States Elections

In 2022, people all across the United States got to vote for who would represent them. It was like choosing the captains for different teams! They voted for people to be in the House of Representatives, which is like a big meeting room with 435 seats.

They also voted for some of the people in the Senate, which is another important meeting room with 100 seats. It’s a way for everyone to have a say in how things are run!

It wasn't just about the big national teams. Many states also picked new leaders, called governors. Think of a governor like the principal of a whole state! Thirty-nine states had elections for their governors. People also voted for leaders in their own towns and cities. This helps make sure that people in charge are listening to what everyone wants and needs.

Sometimes, elections can have surprising results! In 2022, even though many people thought one team would win a lot, it didn't happen quite like that. Some people who thought they would win a lot of seats didn't, and others did better than expected. It shows that voting is super important because it can change who is in charge!
