Władysław IV Vasa

Władysław IV Vasa was a super important king who lived a long, long time ago. He was the King of Poland and the Grand Duke of Lithuania. That means he was in charge of big, important countries! He was born into a royal family, the House of Vasa, and was even a prince of Sweden. He was like a prince and a king all rolled into one!

Guess what? Władysław was so powerful that people in Russia even chose him to be their Tsar! This happened when Polish soldiers were in Moscow. But he didn't get to be Tsar because of some grown-up reasons and people getting upset. Still, for a long time, he was called the Grand Duke of Moscow. He was like a superhero with many titles!

This king was a big fan of making things better. He helped protect his country from enemies, like a brave knight. He even started the Commonwealth Navy, which is like a special team of ships!
