Volodar Murzin

Imagine a kid who is super good at chess. That's Volodar Murzin! He was born in Russia on July 18, 2006. Even though he's still young, he's already a Grandmaster, which is like a superhero rank in chess. He lives in a city called Khimki, which is near Moscow. Volodar loves playing chess and is really, really good at it.

The World Rapid Chess Championship happened in New York City, on Wall Street! Volodar played 13 games, and he won an amazing 10 of them. That's a lot of wins! By winning so many games, he became the World Rapid Chess Champion. He was only 17 years old when he won, which is super young for a world champion. It shows that if you work hard, you can achieve amazing things.
