Tokyo Tower

Tokyo Tower is like a super tall superhero standing in a busy city called Tokyo, in Japan. It's in a neighborhood called Minato. Think of it as a special landmark that everyone in Tokyo knows. It's not in a forest or on a beach, but right in the middle of the city, making it easy for people to see and visit.

This amazing tower was finished a long, long time ago, in 1958! That's even before your parents or grandparents were born. It was built to be super tall, even taller than most buildings around. For many years, it was the tallest thing in all of Japan, like the king of the skyscrapers!

Did you know Tokyo Tower gets a fresh coat of paint every five years? It takes a whole year to paint it! It's painted white and bright orange, like a giant candy cane. This special coloring helps airplanes see it easily, especially when it's dark or foggy, so they don't bump into it.

You can go up inside Tokyo Tower to see amazing views! There are special decks where you can look out over the whole city. One deck is like being on the 40th floor of a building, and another is even higher, like being on the 70th floor! You can see tiny cars and buildings from way up there.
