Meet the Mighty Tiger!

Tigers are the largest cats in the whole world! Imagine a cat as big as a small car, with beautiful orange fur and black stripes. These stripes aren't just for looks; they help tigers hide in the tall grass and forests where they live. They are super strong and can even swim! There are different kinds of tigers, like the Bengal tiger and the Siberian tiger, each with their own special homes.

Where Do Tigers Hang Out?

Tigers live in many different places in Asia, from snowy forests in Russia to hot, steamy jungles in India and Southeast Asia. They need big spaces with plenty of trees and water to hunt and live. Sadly, there aren't as many tigers as there used to be, so they are very special animals that we need to protect.

Their homes are becoming smaller, which makes it harder for them to find food and raise their babies.

Tiger's Favorite Snacks!

Tigers are carnivores, which means they only eat meat. They are amazing hunters! Their favorite meals are deer and wild pigs. They use their incredible eyesight and hearing to sneak up on their prey. A tiger can eat a LOT of meat in one sitting โ€“ sometimes as much as 18 kilograms, which is like eating 36 big hamburgers! They are very careful hunters and mostly hunt alone.

Tiger Babies and Super Senses!

A mother tiger usually has two to four cubs at a time. They are born blind and helpless, and stay with their mom for about two years, learning how to hunt and survive. Tigers have super senses! Their eyes can see really well in the dark, and their ears can hear tiny sounds from far away. This helps them find food and stay safe. They are truly incredible animals!
