Steven Pienaar

Steven Pienaar is a super cool soccer player from South Africa. He was born a long time ago, on March 17, 1982. He was so good that he got to play soccer in many different countries, like the Netherlands, Germany, and England. He was like a speedy winger on the field, running up and down the sides, and sometimes he played as an attacking midfielder, which means he helped his team score goals!

Steven started his soccer journey in South Africa, playing for a team called Ajax Cape Town. But he didn't stay there for long! He was so talented that he got to play for famous teams like Ajax in the Netherlands and Borussia Dortmund in Germany.

Then, he moved to England to play for teams like Everton and Tottenham Hotspur. He even got to be the captain of the South African national team, which is a huge honor!

Steven Pienaar was a really important player for his teams. He was known for his amazing dribbling skills, which means he could run with the ball and keep it away from other players. He was also great at passing the ball to his teammates to help them score.

Being the captain of your country's team is like being the leader of your class, but for the whole country! It means everyone trusts you to play your best.

Even though Steven Pienaar isn't playing soccer professionally anymore, he's still involved in the game! He's now a coach for a young team called the U14 team of Sharjah FC in the United Arab Emirates. He's also an ambassador for Everton, which means he helps represent the team. He's sharing his knowledge and love for soccer with new players and fans!
