Sudan's Amazing States!

Imagine a giant puzzle piece in the northeast corner of Africa! That's where Sudan is. It's a big country, and it's made up of 18 smaller pieces called states.

These states are like neighborhoods, each with its own special things. Some states have sandy deserts, while others have green lands and big rivers. The Nile River, one of the longest rivers in the world, flows through Sudan, bringing life to the land and helping plants grow.

Sudan's states are like a big family living next to each other. They share borders, which means people can travel between them. Before 2011, Sudan had even more states!
