Stan Lee

Stan Lee was like a superhero inventor! He was born Stanley Martin Lieber on December 28, 1922. He worked at a comic book company that later became Marvel Comics. Stan didn't have superpowers himself, but he had an amazing imagination. He worked with artists to create characters that kids and grown-ups all over the world would love. He helped make comic books super popular!

Stan started at a company called Timely Comics. Think of it like a small toy shop that grew into a giant toy store! Over 20 years, Stan helped turn it into Marvel Comics. He was like the captain of a ship, guiding it to discover new lands. He helped create heroes like Spider-Man, who swings between buildings, and the Hulk, who is super strong and green. These characters became famous everywhere!

Before Stan, superheroes were sometimes a bit too perfect. Stan and his friends wanted to make them more like us! Spider-Man worried about homework, and the Fantastic Four sometimes argued. This made the stories more exciting and relatable. Stan believed that even superheroes could have problems and feelings, just like you and me. This made Marvel comics a big hit!

Even after he stopped writing comics, Stan Lee was still a big part of Marvel. You might have seen him in the Marvel movies! He loved making surprise appearances, called cameos, in films like Iron Man and Avengers. He was like a secret Easter egg in the movies! He even got to be an executive producer, which is a very important job. He was a true legend until he passed away on November 12, 2018.
