Saint Stephen's Day is a holiday in lots of countries, like Ireland, Germany, and Italy! In some places, it's called 'Boxing Day' and it's a day to relax and enjoy time with family. It's also the second day of 'Christmastide,' a whole season of celebration after Christmas. Think of it as an extra day to keep the holiday spirit going with yummy food and happy times.

In some parts of Ireland and on the Isle of Man, Saint Stephen's Day has a super cool nickname: Wren Day! Long ago, people would pretend to hunt a little bird called a wren. They would then decorate a stick with the wren and carry it around, singing songs. It sounds a bit strange, but it was a fun tradition to celebrate the day!

Saint Stephen's Day is celebrated on December 26th in Western Christian countries. But guess what? In Eastern Christian countries, they celebrate it on December 27th!
