A Volcano's Big Roar!
One day, a super-duper big volcano named Mount St. Helens decided to wake up! It was like a giant sleeping monster letting out a HUGE roar. This volcano was so powerful, it blew its top off! Robert Landsburg heard about this amazing and scary event and knew he had to go see it. He wanted to take pictures of the incredible power of nature.
Capturing the Big Bang!
Robert was very brave. He went close to Mount St. Helens to take pictures of the eruption. The volcano was spewing ash and smoke way up into the sky, higher than the tallest buildings! Robert kept clicking his camera, trying to get the best shots. He was so focused on his important job of documenting this amazing event for everyone to see.

Sadly, the volcano's eruption was very dangerous. Robert Landsburg was so close to the action, trying to get his amazing photos. He was doing what he loved, but the volcano was too powerful. Even though he is no longer with us, the pictures he took help us understand how incredible and powerful our planet can be. He is remembered for his bravery and his passion for photography.
