Qara Qoyunlu: The Black Sheep Tribe!

The Qara Qoyunlu, which means 'Black Sheep' tribe, were a group of people who lived a super long time ago, from around the year 1374 to 1468. They were like a big, strong family that grew to control a really big part of the world, including places like Armenia, Azerbaijan, Iran, and Iraq. They were known for being great warriors and building impressive things.

The Qara Qoyunlu tribe started in the lands around Eastern Turkey and Northern Iraq. From there, they spread out like a giant blanket! Their lands stretched from the sunny shores of the Persian Gulf all the way up to the snowy mountains of Armenia.
