Pentecost: The Birthday of the Church!

Pentecost is a super special holiday for Christians. It's like a birthday party for the Christian church! It happens 50 days after Easter, which is another big Christian holiday. Think of it as a big celebration that happens after a long period of remembering something important. It's a time to remember a very special event when Jesus' followers got amazing gifts!

The most amazing part of Pentecost happened when Jesus' friends were all together. Suddenly, there was a sound like a strong wind, and it filled the whole house! They all started speaking in different languages they didn't know before.

People who were visiting the city heard them speaking in their own languages and were amazed! It was like having a translator for everyone. This helped spread the message of Christianity to many, many people very quickly.

We still celebrate Pentecost today to remember that amazing day when the Holy Spirit came to Jesus' followers.
