Paddington Bear

Paddington Bear is a very special bear who came all the way from 'darkest Peru'. He wears a red hat, a blue coat, and always carries a battered suitcase. He's famous for his love of marmalade sandwiches, which he often eats in his hat! Paddington is known for being very polite and kind, but sometimes he gets into a bit of a pickle because he tries so hard to do things right.

One day, the Brown family found Paddington all alone at Paddington Station in London. He had a tag that said 'Please look after this bear'. The Browns decided to take him home and gave him his name. His real name in bear language was too tricky for them to say! Paddington quickly became a beloved member of their family, even though he sometimes made a mess.

Paddington has been in lots of books and even movies! He's known for his funny adventures and how he always tries his best. Once, a toy Paddington Bear was sent through the Channel Tunnel to France! He even appeared with Queen Elizabeth II for a special party. Millions of copies of his books have been sold all over the world, making him a very famous bear.

Paddington is easy to spot! He always wears his famous blue duffel coat and his red hat. He also has a battered suitcase that holds all his treasures. He's a very friendly bear, but if someone isn't nice, he can give them a very stern look! He loves to say 'Good morning' and is always trying to be helpful, even if things don't always go to plan.
