Noah: The Man Who Saved the Animals

Long, long ago, there was a kind man named Noah. The world was full of people who weren't very nice, and God was sad. But Noah was different.

He was a good person, and God decided to tell him about a big problem: a giant flood was coming to wash everything away! God told Noah to build a super-duper big boat, called an ark, to save himself, his family, and two of every kind of animal. Noah listened and started building!

Noah's boat, the ark, was HUGE! It was longer than a school bus and taller than a giraffe. He had to chop down lots of trees to get the wood. It took him a very, very long time to build. While he was building, people probably thought he was a little bit silly for building a boat in a dry place. But Noah kept working because God told him to. He was a very patient builder!

When the ark was finally ready, it was time for the animals to come aboard. Noah invited two of every animal – a boy and a girl. Imagine lions, elephants, monkeys, and even tiny little ants all climbing onto the boat!

It must have been a noisy and exciting time. Then, the rain started. It rained and rained for many days and nights, filling up the whole world with water.

The ark floated safely on top of the water, keeping everyone inside dry and safe.

After a long time, the rain stopped, and the water went down. The ark landed on a mountain. Noah sent out a bird, a dove, to see if there was dry land.

When the dove came back with a leaf, Noah knew it was safe to come out. Noah and his family, and all the animals, stepped out onto the fresh, clean Earth. God made a promise to Noah that he would never flood the whole Earth again, and he showed Noah a beautiful rainbow as a sign of his promise.
