June 2025 No Kings Protests

On June 14, 2025, something super cool happened! Lots of people all over the United States decided to have a day called 'No Kings Day'. They gathered to share their feelings about how things were being run. It was a day for people to speak up and be heard, like a giant, peaceful shout!

Guess how many people joined in? More than FIVE MILLION! That's more people than live in some whole countries! They were in over 2,100 cities and towns, from big places like Philadelphia to smaller towns. It was like a giant wave of people all wanting to be heard at the same time.

Sometimes, people called these protests 'No Dictators' or 'No Tyrants' instead of 'No Kings'. This was to make sure everyone understood they were talking about leaders who might be too bossy or unfair. It was a way to say they wanted leaders who listened to everyone, not just themselves.

These protests happened on a very special day. It was the same day as a big parade celebrating the U.S. Army's 250th birthday and also the birthday of Donald Trump. People chose this day to show they cared about their country and wanted things to be fair for everyone.
