“But neoliberalism does work, it just doesn’t do what it’s supposed to. It might not be good for the population at large, but it has facilitated a massive upward redistribution of wealth —the poor are scrubbed clean of everything; the rich drink it up.”

Meet the Super-Town!

A military base is like a special town built just for people who are in the army, navy, or air force. It's a place where they live, work, and keep all their important tools and vehicles, like tanks and planes. Think of it as a big home and playground for soldiers when they're not out on missions. These bases are super important for keeping countries safe and practicing how to do their jobs well.

Where Did These Big Places Come From?

People have been building special places for soldiers for a very, very long time! Even way back when knights wore armor and rode horses, they had castles and forts to protect them. As armies got bigger and used new kinds of machines, like ships and airplanes, the bases had to get bigger and more complicated too. They grew from simple forts to huge towns with everything soldiers need.

Why Are Bases So Important?

Military bases are like the headquarters for a country's protectors. They are where soldiers train to become super skilled, learn how to work together, and get ready for any challenges. It's also where they keep all their special equipment safe and ready to go. Without these bases, it would be much harder for soldiers to do their important job of keeping everyone safe.

What Happens Inside?

Inside a military base, there's always a lot going on! Soldiers live in special buildings, eat in big dining halls, and spend time training in special areas. Some bases have huge runways for airplanes, while others have docks for big ships. They practice using their equipment and learn how to work as a team. It's a busy place where people are always getting ready to help.
