Manichaeism

Manichaeism was a special way of thinking about the world, like a big story about good versus evil. It was started a long, long time ago by a wise man named Mani. People in many different countries, from Europe all the way to China, heard about Manichaeism and thought it was a super interesting way to understand life. It was like a world-traveling belief!

Manichaeism was special because it tried to explain everything! It had ideas about God, the universe, and how we should live. Mani believed that by learning and doing good things, the light inside us could get stronger and eventually win against the darkness.
