Where is Liberia?
Imagine a country shaped like a friendly wave on the edge of Africa! That's Liberia. It's near the big, blue Atlantic Ocean. To its sides are other countries like Sierra Leone, Guinea, and Ivory Coast. Liberia is about as big as the state of Tennessee in the USA. It has warm weather and lots of green trees, making it a beautiful place to explore!

Liberia has a very special story. A long time ago, people from America who were free African Americans and from the Caribbean islands came to live here. They wanted to build a new home. Liberia became the first African country to be free and independent, like a superhero declaring its own freedom! It's the oldest free country in all of Africa.
