Ethiopia

Ethiopia is a big country in Africa, like a giant puzzle piece in the Horn of Africa. It doesn't have any oceans nearby, so it's called landlocked! It has neighbors like Kenya and Sudan. The land is super varied, with tall mountains that touch the clouds and dry, sunny deserts. It's a place with amazing natural wonders!

Did you know that the very first humans might have come from Ethiopia? Wow! This land has been around for ages. Long ago, there were kingdoms like D'mt and Aksum. They built amazing things and were very important. Ethiopia even has a story about a king and queen from a long, long time ago, like a fairy tale!

Ethiopia is home to so many people, more than 135 million! That's like filling up many, many big stadiums. People in Ethiopia have different traditions and speak over 80 languages. They celebrate with music and dancing. Christianity and Islam are important religions there, and people are very welcoming.

Most people in Ethiopia work with the land, growing yummy food like coffee and grains. Coffee actually comes from Ethiopia! It's a very important crop. Ethiopia is also growing fast, like a plant reaching for the sun, and is becoming a bigger player in the world.
