Leiopelmatidae

Imagine frogs that are super, super old, like they've been around since the dinosaurs! That's what the Leiopelmatidae are like. They are often called New Zealand native frogs. They are small and shy, and they love to hide under logs and rocks in the forests. They are so special because they are one of the oldest groups of frogs still alive today.
