Komodo National Park

Komodo National Park is like a super special nature playground in Indonesia, far away on islands called the Lesser Sunda Islands. It's made up of three big islands and lots of smaller ones. The most famous island is Komodo, where the biggest lizards in the whole world live!

These islands are warm and sunny, perfect for these amazing creatures. It's a place full of adventure and incredible animals.

This park was created a long, long time ago, in 1980, to make sure the Komodo dragons had a safe place to live. These dragons are like super-sized lizards, bigger than a grown-up! The ocean around Komodo National Park is like a giant, sparkling aquarium! It's part of something called the Coral Triangle, which has more kinds of fish and sea creatures than almost anywhere else on Earth. You can find amazing coral reefs and so many different fish swimming around. The islands themselves are also full of life, with special plants and birds that you can only find there!

Guess what? Komodo National Park is so special that people from all over the world know about it! It's been called one of the 'New 7 Wonders of Nature'. It's also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which means it's a place that everyone agrees is super important to protect. It’s a truly magical place where nature’s biggest and brightest wonders can be found.
