East Nusa Tenggara is a super cool place made of lots and lots of islands! It's like a string of pearls in the ocean, way down south in Indonesia. Some islands are big, like Sumba and Flores, and some are small.
The water is super blue, and the sun shines bright. It's a place where the Indian Ocean gives a big hug on one side and the Flores Sea tickles the other. It's warm there, perfect for playing outside!

Guess what? People have lived in East Nusa Tenggara for a super, super long time, even before dinosaurs! In a cave called Liang Bua, scientists found bones of people who lived there about 190,000 years ago.
That's older than your grandparents' grandparents' grandparents! They even found tiny people called Homo floresiensis, who were about as tall as a kindergartener. It's like a real-life treasure hunt for ancient history!
Amazing Animals and Pretty Places!
This place is famous for its Komodo National Park. Here you can find the biggest lizards in the world, the Komodo dragons! They are super strong and can be as long as a small car. There are also beautiful beaches with soft sand and water so clear you can see fish swimming. And get this, there are lakes that change colors like magic, from blue to green to red!
Fun and Friendly Faces!
The people in East Nusa Tenggara are very friendly and have lots of fun traditions. They speak many different languages, like a big, happy family with lots of voices. They also make beautiful cloth called 'ikat' by weaving colorful threads.
Sometimes they have special ceremonies, like the Pasola, where people ride horses and throw spears – wow! Many people there are Catholic, and they have beautiful churches.
