Kanishka was a super-important king, like a superhero of history! He was the boss of the Kushan Empire a super long time ago, around 2,000 years back. His empire was HUGE, stretching from faraway lands in Central Asia all the way to a big river in India called the Ganges.
He had two main castles, one in a place called Puruṣapura and another in Mathura. He was known for being a brave warrior and a wise leader.
