Kang Youwei

Kang Youwei was a very clever man who lived a long, long time ago in China. He was like a super-brainy student who thought a lot about how his country could be better. He had big ideas about making changes, almost like suggesting new rules for a game to make it more fun and fair for everyone. He wanted to help his country grow and become stronger, like a plant reaching for the sun.

Even after his country became a Republic, he still believed that the best way for China to be strong was to have a king or queen who listened to the people's ideas, like a class president who asks everyone what they think.
